As always, ten million things in my mind, but not a word to use for a legitimate post.
So for now, I leave this question that Leo Z. asked me a few weeks back in Tagaytay.
Do you say advanced Happy Birthday or advance Happy Birthday?
I went for the former as I mused it must be a matter of sentence construction. Like how people say Happy Birthday in advance ergo, advanced Happy Birthday!
What about you?

Dear, dear! How queer everything is to-day! And yesterday things went on just as usual. I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think: was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is, Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle!'

Okay this requires some patience. Notice the change? I'll figure this out soon. I'm sure I'll have more idle time to ponder on who deserves to be in my links list. (As if.)
For now, all I want to say is Manila feels so much like the 80's. Black outs everyday, no internet service, no mobile service. Zilch. Nothing. Nada.

I am speechless. And as much as I wanna intellectualize what happened yesterday here in Manila, for now I'll tune them out and think of ways on how to help. I've cleaned up my closet, removed about a dozen pairs of old flip flops, and coerced my mother, Madonna, to do the same.
I have no personal stories to share or pictures of cars being engulfed by the flood. I am on the 6th floor. Our street is flood-less. But I feel the sense of loss. And I wish I had more to give more. And I'm wishing that the people I know who do have more, will give, even a little.
